UPDATE: AFRICAN FASHION AND DESIGN WEEK 2017 (AFDW) SCHEDULE

The African Fashion and Design Week (AFDW) which is only two days away and will be holding from October 13th to 15th at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, is more than set to return glamorously for its sixth edition.

The theme for the event is ‘Honour the Masters and Celebrate the New’; and the runway schedule for all three days is out. The Runway Showcase is scheduled to start 6pm every day.

As has been established, this year’s edition of the fashion event seeks to celebrate and pay homage to both veteran renowned designers, as well as new designers who show promising potential.

AFDW will feature collections from more than 30 leading established and emerging African designers from 11 countries.

The African Fashion and Design Week has had 5 years of success, and this 6th edition is not going to be any less exciting than the previous editions. This year’s AFDW is packed full with household names like Nigeria’s own Zizi Cardow, Sunny Rose, Agatha Moreno, Lady Biba, Weiz Dhurm Franklyn among many others.

The primary focus is to give more retail access to designers and consumers globally, to provide platforms for networking and celebrate the African fashion industry in general.
